Since 1969
Our Story
For more than 50 years, Volumatic, Inc. has built its reputation around one fundamental principle: Do the job right.

Where It All Began
Founded in November 1969 in Long Island, New York, Volumatic, Inc. began with a clear mission: to provide high-quality, precision-machined components and assemblies for the Aerospace and Defense industries.
Founder, Robert W. Schmucker, built Volumatic's reputation on precision, craftsmanship, reliability, and a commitment to its customers.
In 1979, the company purchased its first CNC machine, marking the beginning of a continued investment in advanced manufacturing technology and precision machining.
A New Home
In 1989, Volumatic relocated to Macon, Georgia, following the movement of several customers and aerospace manufacturers to the Southeast. The move marked an important chapter in the company's growth and positioned Volumatic for continued success in the aerospace and defense industries.

Moving Forward
Today, Volumatic operates a modern CNC machining facility with 13 CNC machining centers, including Large, advanced 5-axis equipment. Our capabilities and decades of experience allow us to manufacture complex, close-tolerance components and assemblies for demanding aerospace and defense applications.
Built for the Future
While our history spans more than five decades, our focus remains firmly on the future. Volumatic continues to invest in advanced CNC machining technology, sophisticated manufacturing processes, and the people who make it all possible.
Our commitment is simple: deliver precision-machined components, maintain the highest standards of quality, meet our customers' delivery requirements, and provide competitive value.
