Company History

Volumatic, Inc., was incorporated in November 1969, in Long Island, New York. Robert W. Schmucker organized the company to supply custom machined parts and assemblies to commercial and military aerospace and electronics industries in the Northeast.

In 1979, Volumatic purchased its first CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machine. We presently utilize ten CNC machines ranging from 5-axis mills to lathes.

In 1989, we relocated to Macon, Georgia. The move to the Southeast coincided with several customers migrating from the Northeast. Volumatic’s sales in Georgia have more than tripled from their best year in Long Island, and sales continue to increase to records levels.

Today, Volumatic still serves commercial and military aerospace and electronics industries with more than 50 years of experience. Joseph J. Schmucker, President, with his children Joey S. Schmucker, Asstistant Plant Manager, and Alyssa Da Costa, Business Operations, makes 3 generations of knowledge and experience within our business.

We are involved in our community and are members of the Chamber of Commerce in both Macon and Warner Robins.

In the future, we will continue to maintain the most sophisticated manufacturing processes, deliver quality parts and service, guarantee delivery schedules and be competitively priced.
